Dentists

Gary and Judith met at dental school in Edinburgh and qualified in 1984.

Judith: I have always enjoyed my dentistry, getting to know my patients, gaining their trust, understanding their concerns and helping them overcome their worries. I am fortunate to be able to combine dentistry with bringing up our family and currently work 2 days at the Practice as a ‘dentist’, but am also known to be’ receptionist’ or ‘nurse’ on occasions too.

Gary: I was first influenced towards a career in dentistry by my own dentist, who I subsequently worked for before setting up Clarence Dental Practice. I enjoy the balance of science, artistry, psychology and personal interaction . Many of our patients are regarded as good friends by all the team and this adds to the enjoyment of coming to work. My interests outside work include rowing, watching rugby and other sports, cinema, and the odd game of golf!
