The set fee for an adult new patient appointment at Clarence Dental Practice is £95.00. This fee covers a discussion with the dentist, thorough history taking, examination of your mouth and teeth, relevant x-rays and a written report of the dentist’s findings, suggested treatment needs and an estimate of cost.

Once an adult patient has registered with Clarence Dental Practice, they have 3 methods of payment:

Pay-as-you-go. This means as it says, that you pay for treatment as you need it. Patient’s are given an estimate of costs before treatment is carried out, so as there are no surprises. We accept cash, cheques and most credit cards (not American Express).
For more complex /costly treatments some patients sign up to a payment scheme operated through Code PLC. Bespoke dental finance can be simply authorised with options on repayments up to a 5 year period.

Clarence Dental Practice Premier Dental Plans: In response to requests from many of our regular patients, we thought long and hard about how to provide a scheme to help patients budget for their dental needs. We have therefore structured a preventive maintenance system that we feel is fair and equitable. These plans have proved to be very popular with our patients and are payable on direct debit each month.
By joining one of our Premier Dental Plans, you will be covered for all of your routine dental needs and also benefit from substantial discounts on further treatment as a thank you for your loyalty to our practice. Our plans, including insurance, can also help you to budget for your dental care for less than £4.00 per week! As a member of either of our Premier Dental Plans you will be covered for:
- Regular dental appointments (two per year) to provide:
  - Clinical examinations
  - Checking for signs of oral cancer
  - Routine x-rays where clinically necessary
- Regular hygiene appointments (depending on individual need) to provide:
  - Hygiene consultation
  - Periodontal advice
  - Preventive techniques to reduce decay and gum disease
- Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment required, carried out at the practice during normal surgery hours.
- All treatment planning for your future dental needs
- Free antibiotics dispensed at the practice
- Dental warranty - all subsequent remedial work within 12 months of recommended restorative work
- 10% discount on any laboratory-based treatments required, i.e. crowns, bridges and dentures
- Up to 20% discount on any fillings and on most other dental work (extractions, etc.).*
- Worldwide Trauma and Emergency Callout Insurance should you need a dentist anywhere in the world. Also includes:
