Although we may recommend a specific option that we professionally feel would be the best available for you - the final decision is always yours. We will respect your budget and treatment choices and work with you to provide the dental care you choose.

Adult New Patient Comprehensive Examination (1 Hour, inc all small x-rays, clinical photographs and written report).

1. MEDICAL HISTORY UPDATE - Health conditions and current medication review
2. EXTRAORAL EXAMINATION - Face and neck assessment
3. JAW JOINTS (TMJ) - Clicks, tenderness, headaches and all jaw movements
4. TEETH - Decay, areas of wear, tooth colour, aesthetics and overall health
5. GUMS - Condition and presence of disease and oral hygiene assessment
6. BITE - We examine for signs of wear, grinding, clenching or instability.
7. PREVIOUS DENTAL WORK - check for health, function, aesthetics and stability
8. ORAL CANCER SCREENING - examination of the soft tissues including tongue, cheeks, lips, floor and roof of mouth
9. DIGITAL X- RAYS - (less radiation used) - As clinically necessary and report on findings
10. COSMETIC, ORTHODONTIC or IMPLANT- Discussion of options
11. CLARENCE DENTAL HEALTH PLAN ASSESSMENT
12. TREATMENT PLAN and WRITTEN ESTIMATE (if required)
